Founded by educational visionary Stanley Bosworth, Saint Ann’s School is a renowned private institution celebrated for its excellence in both academics and the arts. The flagship campus, located at the corner of Pierrepont and Clinton Streets in Brooklyn Heights, has been home to the school since 1966. Occupying the 12-story Bosworth Building, the school has evolved over the years to accommodate its growing success.
In 2015, Yorke Construction partnered with Saint Ann’s School for its first project together. Appointed as the construction manager, Yorke was tasked with modernizing the Bosworth Building to enhance efficiency and better meet the school’s evolving needs. The project included a full range of updates: aesthetic improvements, a complete overhaul of electrical, fire alarm, mechanical, fire sprinkler, and plumbing systems, the installation of a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen for the cafeteria, the creation of innovative classrooms, and the addition of new grand staircases and cutting-edge performance spaces.
Following the successful transformation of the Bosworth Building, Saint Ann’s School continued to trust Yorke with subsequent projects, including the construction of a new Computer Science Lab.
