Built in 1903, The Hudson Theatre is a former Broadway theater located at 139-141 West 44th Street between Times Square and 6th Avenue. Previously, the Hudson Theatre was used as a television studio and most recently as a conference and party space for the Millennium Broadway Hotel. In early 2015, Ambassador Theatre Group took over the management of the theatre and will be converting it back into a fully operational and working Broadway Theatre.
The project required the demolition and replacement of mechanical infrastructure as well as updating the historic esthetics of the space. In addition, Yorke oversaw the careful management of the historic protection requirements in accordance with the City of New York’s Landmarks Preservation Commission.
